Lyosha Beshenov
Now I am an M.Sc. student in theoretical computer science at the St. Petersburg University of the Russian Academy of Sciences. My scientific interests are
- Real algebraic geometry, semialgebraic geometry, o-minimal geometry, etc.
- Interplay between (real) algebraic geometry and (algebraic) computational complexity
- Commutative algebra and algebraic geometry
My advisor is Dmitrii Pasechnik (Nanyang Technological University).
At the end of spring term 2012, I am defending my M.Sc. thesis A Bound on the Betti Numbers of Semialgebraic Sets Defined Over Quadratic Maps.
